Accommodation
You won't find Booking in Cuba, but Airbnb works well here. The best option is cheaper casas particulares, as hotels are more expensive.
You cannot use the popular Booking.com accommodation provider in Cuba, as it is one of the few destinations in the world where it does not operate. We used Airbnb for most of our stays, as it usually offers a wide range of options, and we were quite satisfied. In one case, we used a Cuban accommodation platform, and everything went smoothly. You can also try to find accommodation directly on site, which is how we found accommodation in Playa Giron without any problems. Overall, we recommend staying in private guesthouses (casas particulares), where you will pay €20-40 per night for a room for two people, although prices may be higher in larger cities and tourist areas. Hotels are more expensive, usually ranging from €80 to €200 per night for two people.
